The Energy Shield, originally referred to as Energy Barrier, is a powerup in Dr. Lunatic and The Adventures of Bouapha: Spooky Castle.
Effects[]
When picked up, the Energy Shield will encase the player in a translucent blue shield, which will protect them from any damage for 8 seconds and enable him to walk on lava unharmed. Tiles set to act like water, however, will still be deadly. The Energy Shield will not work if the player is wearing a Power Armor or controlling a Mini-Sub; it will, however, work while the player is driving a You-Go.
