Retrovirus is a Gamelet wherein you must destory viruses which represent Blue circles with small orange circles. The representation might not be correct but let's just assume it is.
This game is avaliable for Mac and PC.
Gameplay[]
The player appears in the middle of the playfield and must immediately fend off CIRs. To do this the player must tap or hold the left mouse button inorder to shoot what appears to be green 0s and 1s. The game can go on forever as it is in the sense of an Arcade game. If the player loses all his/her hearts then the game ends.
By holding or tapping the right mouse button the player can slow down time. But the player would lose 300 points from the scoreboard for each second.
The Character[]
The main character or hero of the game is described by some as a Four Legged Mechanical Metal Spider With 70s Style Hair And Glasses. This character has no reference to any other games. But the original name for the main character was "A virus with an afro and gold chain".
About[]
This game was originally created to test both a graphics library (see how many people had trouble running OpenGL games) and a control scheme (how do people handle keyboard and mouse simultaneously?).
