The Great Pumpkin's Field

The Great Pumpkin's Field was a Halloween webgame released exclusively for Halloween. Players collaboratively fought Happy Ponies that have captured The Great Pumpkin. The game was first accessible via http://www.hamumu.com/pumpkin.php between October 7th and October 31st 2009. On November 1, 2009, with the conclusion of Halloween, the game was taken down. For every subsequent October from 2010 to 2012, the game was brought back up through a link hidden somewhere on the site.

When rescued, The Great Pumpkin sends his well-wishes to his rescuers.

The Great Pumpkin emerges from the cage and rewards all who have helped in slaying its captor. Since October 11, 2009, these awards have been removed.

The Great Pumpkin departs a few moments after it is freed.

Items

Unless otherwise stated, a player may obtain up to 99 of each item.

Image	Name	What it does
	Hammer	This is an unlimited-use weapon that fires a hammer projectile. Each hammer projectile does 1 point of damage. Each successive Hammer collected increases the number of hammers thrown per shot by 1. A player may collect up to 5 Hammers.
	Chinese Food	This item recovers up to 5 points of the user's health.
	AK-8087	This weapon fires three bullets, each dealing anywhere between 3 to 9 points of damage.
	Freeze Ray	When used, this item freezes one enemy for 7 seconds. When frozen, the enemy can not attack.
	Freezmotron	This rare item freezes all enemies present for 7 seconds.
	Energy Barrier	This object renders its user invulnerable to all attacks for 20 seconds.
	Regeneratorizer	This item resurrects a random user on the field to full health when used. It will not activate if there are no fallen users present at the time it is used.
	Regen-X	Very rare, the Regen-X resurrects all allies present on the field to full health. Like the Regeneratorizer, it will not activate if there are no fallen users present at the time it is used.
	Toaster	This weapon burns an enemy for ten damage. If the target is frozen when this weapon was used on it, it will thaw the target, but do double damage.
	Molecular Destabilizer	When fired at an enemy, this weapon weakens the target for 10 seconds, increasing the damage done by other weapons.
	Big Bomb	This weapon does 50 points of damage to the target.
	Mallow Melter	"Vaporizes all marshmallows within 3.7 miles!"
	Chainsaw	The Chainsaw reduces an enemy's health points by 5% of its current health.

Upon saving The Great Pumpkin, the player was awarded one of the following prizes (most common to rarest). Complaints by several members of the community prompted Jamul to remove all prizes, save the Ponyslayer trophy, only four days after the game's initial release.

2010

The Ponyslayer trophy is given out to members who slay their very first pony. There are no other awards or prizes obtainable during this year.

2011

Raffle Tickets are given out to members who participate in slaying a pony (i.e. doing at least one point of damage to a pony that was eventually slain). Each member who contributes to the slaying of a pony obtains one Raffle Ticket per pony. At the end of the month, a free Loonyland: Halloween Hill CD is mailed to a member who has at least one Raffle Ticket. Having more Raffle Tickets increases the holder's probability of winning the CD. The winner this year is darkguyhades.

Oct. 8	Ponies are back again! Items are usually obtainable every ten minutes and beyond without lurking, and pony sightings are increased to one every two hours and five minutes or beyond. Ponies leave after fifteen minutes.
Oct. 12	Revolution is banned for being a bot of SpaceManiac. Item drop delay increased to fifteen minutes and beyond without lurking.
Oct. 28	Item drop delay reduced to five minutes and beyond without lurking.
Oct. 30	Item drop delay reduced to three minutes and beyond without lurking for twelve hours. Item drop delay subsequently reduced to 30 seconds, unaffected by lurking, and pony sightings reduced to 40 minutes.
Oct. 31	Pony health and aggressiveness increased significantly and Mallow Men limit increased to 8 for twelve hours. Subsequently, time between pony sightings decreased to one every 20 minutes and item drop delay decreased to 5 seconds, unaffected by lurking.
Nov. 2	Ponies are gone again!

Oct. 6	Ponies are back again! The game is in the exact same state as at the end of October 30 last year.
